Make Wareham Carnival Pay: Win £100 |
In the year 1923General Pitt-Rivers discovered a Roman catacomb south of Higher-Lytchett. To his amazement he found manuscripts about a hydro-catapult as used by Hadrian, when he built his wall to divide England from Scotland. It was written that Hadrian’s officers would fire wild cats from their catapult to frighten the Scots. On Sunday the 18th of July we hope to demonstrate the art of catapulting a cat across the River Frome.
Now here is your chance to win yourself ONE HUNDRED ENGLISH POUNDS if you can film the cat as he does his triple somersault in mid air before landing in his travelling cage.
Best of luck!
Look forward to seeing you on the day.
