Representatives from the Wareham-Hemsbach Society visited Hemsbach in June, to attend the annual 6th Form leaving ceremony at the Hemsbach Gymnasium, The delegation consisted of the President /Chairman, Mr Charles R Patterson and his wife, the Secretary, Mrs Myrna Gomes Maria and a member of the Committee, Mrs Lena Ward.

After making a speech to the students, during which he congratulated them on their excellent examination results and their immaculate appearance on such an important occasion, Mr Patterson formally presented a special Prize and framed Certificate to SEBASTIAN VOLL, the German student selected by his tutors as being the most proficient in English language studies during 2009.

Following the ceremony, the representatives joined friends from the Partnerschaft for a reunion dinner together before dispersing with their various hosts for the weekend. They returned home to Wareham on the Monday, after a most enjoyable weekend.
